Did you know that, according to the Gallup-Palmer College of Chiropractic Annual Report: “Americans’ Views of Prescription Pain Medication and Chiropractic Care“, 80% of adults in the United States think chiropractic care can help with back and neck pain? Over 6,300 people over the age of 18 participated in the study.
The report highlighted the findings on the prevalence of significant neck and back pain, people’s perceptions of prescription pain management (including opioids), and the use and costs of chiropractic care in the US.
It’s no secret that Dr. Merckling believes that chiropractic should be a first-line defense for chronic pain, before you consider opioids, but we encourage you to do your own research. See what others think by reading the study for yourself.
